on some peoples machines my page is too big to see and they have to scroll around
how do i make it so it fits on smaller monitors? thanks |

Hi ew,
That is a difficult one because every computer and monitor are different. Some people design for the smallest size that a visitor might have (640/480). However, even designing for this size does not guarantee your visitors won't get a scroll bar if their browser is not maximized. The most common design size these days is 800/600. Go to Options > Project Options and make sure the Target Resolution is set to 800x600. Now make sure the Guide Border is enabled (blue rectangle on the top tool bar). This will give you a guideline to design to. - Derry |
