With page you want to use as a template showing, Page Editor->Page Select tab, check the Master Page box. Then anytime you click the New Page button, it will be created using that page as a "template".

Try "includes" for the items that will be in a fixed position on each page. Right-click the item then "Include on..."

For the footer which will likely be in a different up/down position on each page, you should use a clone -- unfortunately that will require you to clone to each page and adjust the position to suit each. You may find it helpful to lock the object on the template page in the most common position -- that will minimize the manual adjustments needed.

Hi Bruceee ... if I have to reposition the locked footer in the "include on" new page will that change the position on the template and/or all the pages which have the template? ... the "Include on" should work great for the header ... thanks for the tip ... dd

I suggest you make your footer a clone rather than an include -- that allows you to reposition each clone, if necessary, without upsetting the other pages, or the template page.

Locking the template footer is not essential. With it locked, a clone operation will place the clone in the same position as on the template page. You can then adjust it from there.

Without the locking, a clone will position at wherever your mouse happens to be at the time you clone.
