I am preparing a site about memory problems. I wish to include a self-help booklet that can be downloaded. It may be in .pdf or word format. How do I do this?
There will be no charge for this booklet.
Thanks

As far as i know...
You will have to make the pdf-file first
to do that you will need one of these :

Acrobat 6.0 professional
Acrobat 6.0 standard
Jaws PDF-creator
Pdf-editor v 3.0
Win2PDF
Robopdf 2.0

They are all not free and you have to buy them
prices range from 50$ up to 700$

MakePDF (seems to be free but you need GhostScript (www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost) )

Otherwise you may look at for example at:
www.download.com and look for a "pdf maker"
you might find a free one there

Ever wondered why they distribute the adobe-pdf-reader for free ? (because they make the money on the pdf-maker)

Next step would be to import it to sitespinner... i'm not shure what would be the best way to do that maybe someone else can answer that ! (probably "import foreign object" ?)

It would just be a link on your site. i.e "Click here to download the pdf file."
The link would then be associated with where the files is located which would be where it was stored with your host. i.e www.mysite.com/memorybooklet.pdf. Then when the link was clicked it would be downloaded.
