I just moved my website to a new computer and downloaded the latest version of Sitespinner to it - old computer used Vista and new one uses XP.

Now, when I move the pointer over the icons on the right ('page editor', 'add text', 'add picture', etc) they sometimes change ( add 'text turns' into 'add picture', so that now there are two 'add pictures' on the screen. If I click up above the icons all goes back to normal, but it makes it very difficult to get anything done.

The worst thing is that 'Undo' no longer works.How can I survive without 'Undo'?? I am at the moment trying to rebuild a page from scratch because of an error that I couldn't undo.
Never had trouble like this with Sitespinner before.

Help! Could it be that Sitespinner is not getting along with my new XP operating system?

First thing I'd check is that you have the latest XP Service Pack which is 3 (you should have at least SP2). The next thing I'd check is if there is any "compatibility" issues when you right click the SS icon and then select properties. (This is probably not an issue since XP didn't have compatibility selections.) Third thing I'd do is to uninstall SS and do a re-install.

I checked and I do have SP3, so I will uninstall and then re-install.

Uninstalled and then re-installed, but it is doing the same thing. Very discouraging.

Which version of SiteSpinner are you using - as reported by Help > About? There are two versions that could be "latest": V2.70f and V2.90 Beta.

I use both versions with Windows XP SP3 and have not seen a problem like this.

Try going to the Toolbar Options and Click "Reset All". Try setting the toolbar buttons to be the small ones. Any difference? Does scrolling the screen have any effect on the toolbar behavior?

What happens if you click a button that is displaying incorrectly -- do you get the editor the button indicates?

Try these tests on the tutorials Project (Help > Tutorials) -- does that make a difference?

For your undo problem, is it only the undo button that doesn't work? Or does it affect the hot key Ctrl+Z and the main menu Edit > Undo function as well?
