I love using Sitespinner but have not been able to figure out how to publish only my changed files to my web host. I've used the 'Single page' option but usually end up publishing all to ensure that i've collected all my changed pages (I forget which little changes I've made sometimes) which not only takes a long time but also uses up unnecessary data on my internet monthly allowance.

In other programs that i've used, there is an option to only publish new pages or pages with changes. Have I missed something or this not available with Sitespinner?

I have thought of using an external FTP program but also wasn't sure if I needed to do something to my Sitespinner files prior to uploading.

Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated. Thank You. Beverley

An external FTP program or the one built into Windows will work. The only change in SiteSpinner is to publish the files to disk instead of your site. Then use the FTP program to upload the files from there.

SiteSpinner does not know what files have changed. You either need to remember what you have changed, or use a compare utility to compare old files against the new. Some will even do the upload as well.

Many thanks Bruce!
Much appreciated. I thought I had missed something Smile

And many thanks too for such a great amount of information on this support site. While this is my first post, I have read many of your valuable posts and visited your helpful site. The support here was a key deciding factor in my deciding to purchase Sitespinner last year. I've been able to get up and running and find answers to many of my queries here. Hence, you've done such a great job that it's taken nearly 12 months for me to have to ask a question that hasn't been previously answered.
Sincere appreciation!
Beverley
