I have added a new font into my Winnt\fonts folder .. (Tengwar Cursive archive .. just for experimenting) ..

but when I view the SVG script, the CSS style type font-family is always "Times Roman" .. regardless of font-family actually used or displayed in SVG (see in quotes below).

Why Times Roman and not the actual font? Is Times Roman a default font?

Hi D_L,

Yes, it is a default font for setting font sizes and is a legacy browser issue. Not sure what the status is now, but it will be reviewed over the coming months (though it should not effect your font selection in any way).
