Hello: Tables are great and I like to use them but I have yet to find a way to input text in the box's the table creates. If there is a way besides making a word or two into a text object and inserting it in the box I would appreciate knowing how this would be avery valuable feature

You can't type text directly into a table but to add text to a table, you create text in the usual way (click on the Text button to create a text object) then with your mouse, drag the text object into ( or out of ) a cell in the table.
