More specifically, I use forms and search boxes. I use one for google adsense and some various other contact forms and such. When I was using SiteSpinner 7 everything was perfect, but then after upgrading to the latest pro version the objects don't look right. when they are previewed or published the buttons are way off where they should be and the entire boxes themselves are slightly off.

I have tried searching the internet and these forums and found nothing. I tried the css option, makes no difference. Can someone please help? I have examples of the normal site page and an example of the new messed up one. Thanks in advance.
Oh, and I did generate new code just for pro after I saw I was having problems. No difference.

Look to the right side of the page. Its the two search boxes.
I removed a little logo from the test page so no one thought it was interfering with anything.

http://www.bobsbot.com/reviews.html (good page)

http://www.bobsbot.com/test.html (bad page)

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I'm new and cant post a new topic in the "code" forum.

You're in the right forum. You're not supposed to post to the code forum -- that is in the FAQ section controlled by VM.

I tried your email form code on its own page in SSPro, and that works as you would expect, so I don't think it is an inherent problem with SSPro.

Try sending your problem objects "To Back". If that fixes the problem, then you have a different problem: errors in one or more of the other code objects on your page.

Use a copy of your project for this next test!

The easiest way to track down the guilty object(s) is to first restore your forms "To Front". Then delete the other code objects one by one until such time that the forms work properly.

Thank you for the reply. Well, I tried everything you suggested with no luck. The only thing I have found out so far is if the "high render work window" option is checked it scews the orange and blue rectangle objects at the top of my page slightly to the right. I have no idea if this offers any insight, but I've tried everything. Maybe I should just try re-installing. There's no way my projects will delete is there?

Thanks for your help, if you need a link posted for anything let me know I would be glad to help.

What name are you using for your .ims project file? If it is available on your site, I'll download it and take a closer look.

I hate asking dumb questions but, is there a copy already there from when I publish the project or should I upload it? Its named bobsbot6. I can upload anytime if needed.

At the very bottom of the Profile tab on the publisher, there is a check box “Auto Backup Project File When Publishing”.

When checked, a backup of your project will be automatically placed into the root folder of your site.

You obviously must have it unchecked, as I could not fine your file.

You will have to upload it.

I can't find a bobsbot6.ims either. If you do in fact have auto-backup on, it may be that your host is rejecting files of type .ims.

In that case, zip up the file into .zip format and upload that separately. If that is getting too complicated, just email me your .ims project file -- address in my public profile.

Sad to say it is getting a little confusing. I can do a lot, but the technical aspect of websites is a whole different ballgame. I'll zip the file and email. Thank you. I dont know if you have heard of traffic exchanges, but I need to install the script for one under a different domain name and that is really getting confusing lol.

I got your ims project file -- thank you. I don't see anything inherently wrong with it, and your test page previews perfectly for me, using Firefox.

I used the latest version of SSPro -- V.291c, so as the next step, I suggest time for an upgrade (I think you are using V2.91).
