Using the services of statcounter.com, I attempted to add a hits counter to the bottom of my webpage. Strangely (perhaps coincidently), on the browser on my desktop where I edited this homepage, I see the counter as expected on the bottom of the page. On all other PC's, it does not appear. Why would this be the case? The behaviour is the same with both IE and Firefox.

Feel free to let me know if I should instead be posing this question to statcounter rather than you guys.

Here is the site --> www.gagegolfandcurling.com

Thanks

As another user of statcounter.com I would guess that you have clicked the icon when you registered to have a 'hidden' counter. You would see it on your workpage, but not on your site. Take the code off your page, go back to statcounter.com and go through it again looking carefully at what you are 'clicking'.

You do have a counter on your page -- it is just hidden. It is in the top left of your page, under the white background and resized_golf1.gif image.

I'm not sure how you entered the code, but do it as a 'Code Object' (icon on the left toolbar) and leave CSS positioning ON.
