hi,
I am using SiteSpinner pro and I would like to know if it is possible having the output of my site adjusted to the location of my visitors. What I mean is for example: someone from New York visits my site and sees a foto of the statue of liberty with content in english and when someone from Spain visits he sees a bottle of wine with Spanish content.
If thats is possible please explain me how to do it (in very simple terms, I am new at this)
Thanks

.

1st, you would have to determine your visitors IP-adress
which is roughly depending on his location.
(certain countries/areas have a certain range assigned to them).

2nd, you have to look up the Ip-adress
in a table that holds these ranges and locations

3rd, once you have the country from that table
you will need a script that (re)directs your
visitor to the wanted page.

1) So you need a IP-adress retrieving script.
2) And a table (IP-adress vs Country).
3) And a IP-depending/Country (re) directing script.

I can imagine that above is available from a
3rd party as a complete service.

You could also Google for the terms under 1),2),3)

I did a Google for "ip-adress redirecting script"

http://www.google.com/search?h...cript&meta=&aq=f&oq=

read a few of them...that should get you started i hope.
