I have one page in my site that goes into a 'private', password protected directory on my host and the rest of the site goes into the root directory. I have been doing this with two separate publishings. Is there a way to put all my pages into the root directory except this one page and at the same time put it into the private directory?
Thanks, Paul |

I was going to say "no", but if your private page doesn't often change, you could do this:
Add the private page to your project with the Embed File or Media (Foreign Object) tool, using Format "Other". Then via the Publisher > Pages tab > Subfolders button > More checkbox, set the "Other Foreign Objects" file type to be your private folder -- e.g set it to private. Then to your main project, set the link(s) pointing at the private page to be: Link Type: blank Link URL : /private/MyPrivatePage.html Then, whenever you publish your page with the Foreign Object, SS will pick up your private page and upload that too. |
