Is it a good idea and usefull to insert a page-transition-effect to hide the (ugly) build-up of the next (heavvy) page ?

(By the way i am really missing one page-transition-effect wich is called "FADE" (not the same as random dissolve)
This one would be very usefull when you would have the same background or template on all pages.
The resulting effect would give the impression
of the background staying in the same place
but everything on top would be replaced.

Whether you use the page transition effect is really a matter of taste. It does help pass the time while the images download.

As for the fade, I am not sure that is possible, however we'll look into it.

Tnx ..the fade is possible...if you are on the free geocities/yahoo pagebuilder the have it in there the fade transition-effect
It's a real fade just like a real video mixing fade

If you want i could make something (at geocities ) so you could check it out,
just let me know
