Hi all,
Found a website called www.freecsstemplates.org and wondered if these templates could be used with site spinner easily. Any thoughts? Thanks Darren Nothing is impossible, it will just cost more! |

Like any HTML template, it cannot be directly imported as an SS project.
You can however, view the template in your browser and duplicate the layout in the SS work page, and are free to use the images provided in the template. The hard part comes when implementing any CSS code that the template may use for visual effects (e.g., hover effects on the links). Since SS uses its own object naming convention, those names would not agree with the CSS selector names used by the template. Thus manual editing of the supplied CSS would be necessary. This is not difficult if you know how to use CSS. But some hover effects could be duplicated using the SS SpecialFX mouse effect options. On a positive note, copying the template layout in SS would be considered a derivative work and is allowed under the template's licensing terms. |
