I've been using SiteSpinner for a very short amount of time to build my website. I have published my website a few times. BUt whenever I go to my website on the internet the screen is blank and it says, "done" on the bootm left screen. I have to refresh it a couple of times for my website to come up. Then when I can get my website to come up and I click on a link to take me to another page it sometimes gives me a, "page cannot be found". I then have to refresh a few times for the page to come up. What causes this problem?

I had no problems with your site. If I were you, I would try it on another computer on the same internet connection and then I would also try it on another internet connection. I think it is more of a problem with your internet than with the site itself. Do you have dial-up? Do you have a firewall? I don't know who your host is, but it could be a server side problem as well- but if I can access all your pages- quickly without incident, then I would almost rule out your host- unless it is sporadic.

If you haven't made any changes since j razz looked, it may be something to do with your hosting.
I get only the blank page which looks like something your host might put up. Clicking refresh multiple times does nothing for me. I have no problems with your site. Tried it in both IE7 and Firefox. Maybe you did ome changes already

Oh boy. So would you say that it's a hosting problem then? I'll have to call GoDaddy then and see what the issue is. When I set up my hosting with them they gave me a blank page for jcarlisidesigns.net (no www.) but I uploaded all my files to www.jcarlisidesigns.net. Does not having the www. make a difference? Both sites don't come up for me right now.

So I contacted GoDaddy and they indicated I had 2 IP address' that was redirecting my website half the time. So I had it fixed and should be up in about 24 hours. Thanks for everyone's help!!

It's working again now -- maybe permanently this time
That code was just code for a blank page. Many hosts put more in it than that -- some sort of 'Coming Soon' message. It's not a page that SiteSpinner would create. |
