Hi folks! Another silly question, LOL!
Is there any way we can start a bullet list with a designated number? I have had to split an object in two and place them side by side to fit. But the second object starts with number 1 again ... and I need number 7. Is *typing* that object the only option? Thanks. mccifa |

Yes, but unfortunately, it is not easy to do in SS.
Since you were able to split the list in 2 and get them to fit on the page, I'm wondering if it would not be easier for you to keep the text in one long list and use CSS to split it into 2 columns. It not, then the simplest thing to do is preview the page (with your split lists), look at the page source, locate the generated HTML for the 2nd list, then copy and paste it into a code object. Once it is pasted, locate the <ol> tag and add the attribute start=7 inside the ol tag. Altho this attribute is deprecated, most browsers still support it (IE, FF, Opera, Safari and Chrome). |
