I have not had any success with the hosting instructions to my server I realy have not FTP too many times I have only used FP in the past can someone HELP.

The tutorial for publishing is good, have a scan through that for a better idea (unless it is on a linux server )

Your host company should have set you up with a password and username.

Make sure your first page is called 'index'
Gather all files

If it's SS you use, you will find all the necessary information to publish your project directly from SS under Help > Help Topics > Projects > Publishing Projects.

I think my problem is that I need to use the FTP client from within SS I guess I cant use the client that is on the server or can I ?

When you are starting out, the FTP within SS is easiest to use -- once you get it set up!

You could use the uploader provided by your host, but that will probably not be as convenient.

As well as the help Klimt referred to, there is also a publishing tutorial -- Help > Tutorials.
