Hi, I have used sitespinner for several years and considered myself a pro until now.

I have a background on my web page.

There are images that need to appear transparent on this background.
I saved the images as gifs. When I preview the images in paintshop/photoshop the images appear transparent. When inserting the gif. image into SiteSpinner, it is no longer transparent.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you in advance.

It would help if you posted a link to your website Wink

Hi, Roma

Thanks for your reply.

The website is not up. It's something that I am currently working on.

Using a blue floral background.
Inserting images of pillows onto the blue background.

Though the pillows are saved as gifs. when inserted into SiteSpinner they appear surrounded by a white background.

Any suggestions?

If by the background you mean edges, then try to export your gifs from the graphic program using the same background that they are going to be placed on in SS.

If you create your gifs in SiteSpinner, they automatically have a transparent background.

However as you are using an external image editor, you may be missing a step: when you save the gif, you need to specify that the white color of your pillow background should be the transparent color.

Also the SiteSpinner workpage may not show the transparency -- it will show only when you preview or publish.
