Boy it is frustrating to think things are there in Engine and because the buttons are there but find out NOT there. All I want to do is add a little sound to an object when you click on it.
After I tried, I find out none of the sound functions work on Engine except the page sound functions. This is very disappointing that I cannot attach a sound file to an object!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Avaialble for future updates" is NOT what I have in mind! I have in mind "click...beep,beep" This kind of very basic stuff should be included. Unless I am missing something, please advise. Also, I can't apply multiple mouse special effects to single grouped objects! If I could, I could make drop down menu's that change when you pass over or click! Look at www.perrycrane.com If you could apply effects to single grouped objects, after the box drops down, you could change each link on passover and click! |

Hello Captain Stevo,
Yes you are correct Sound objects in WebEngine are not yet complete. As you know WebEngine V2 is an unfinished product (Beta) and there are still several areas that are being worked on. Having said that Sound objects are one of the things we are working on right now so they will hopefully be done sooner rather than later. Re: multple mouse effect per object. There is only support for one mouse trigger, one loading and mouseover effect per object. Certainly more would be better and we realize menus are a good thing but that is a new feature for another day. WebEngine 'Behaviours' when they are complete should allow menu creation. Cheers, Harpo |

Does that mean that because Engine was incomplete when I bought it, I get a free upgrade when the work is done?

Hi Captain Stevo,
Absolutely, you are entitled to upgrade to the final release of Web Engine V2 once it is released. Furthermore, you are also entitled to all V2 releases. - Derry |
