I have created a link for a form which is in PDF format and want it to link from each page in my web site. I changed the name to have no spaces, etc based on info I found here (thanks!) and it just will not come up on each page. The page comes up and looks like a PDF page but is gray and the name of each comes up as the same on the website. A few of the links will bring it up but not all. They all show up in preview and I have gone to page editor to make sure that I don't have the redirect button accidentally pushed. It isn't. I also have a url link on my "Quilt Galleries" page that will not link either.
Edited to add website name in case that will help: quiltsonmonday.com Thanks. This message has been edited. Last edited by: kayhg, |

First of all, the reason why the URL links on your Quilt Galleries page do not work is because the URL path is incomplete. You have “http:tinyurl.com/2ac75b” whereas it should be http://www.tinyurl.com/2ac75b
The only links to your order form that I can find are on the T-Shirt Quilts page, and on the Order Form menu item. All of them work fine for me. As far as the name being the same, well of course it would. The links all point to the same form. May I also suggest that you change the titles on each page. The only one hat seems correct is LongArm Quilting. |

Thanks for your help, postyr. Learn somethin' new every day! I just assumed that the url was whatever I used to get there. I will add the other. Strange that it worked before as it was - before I published again. Oh well.
Regarding the links to the form, I did know that the name should be the same on all pages, what I don't know is why, with the same name there and the PDF-appearing gray pages there but without the form, the form is only showing up on the 2 pages.? I inserted the links on each page in exactly the same way that I put it on the 2 that show up correctly. I redid them individually thinking that that was the problem, only to again have the same results. Thanks too, for the info about the page names. I was wondering about that and did realize that when I republish, the names obviously change. Back again. |

As I said in my last post, I do not get the grey page effect, they opened fine.
May I suggest that you find one of the links that does work, delete all of the others, then copy the good one and, instead of using “Paste”, go to Edit > Paste Clone (or right click and select “Clone” from the context menu) to each position and page where you want them. |

I inadvertently started a new thread last night on this.
Turns out, the gray pages are appt'ly a mystery within my computer, as are disappearing header info and side links. Form pages at least, don't seem to be an issue on others. Thanks again for your help. |
