hi there, have rotated a text object previously - but now i can't do it.....

what i am doing is creating a text box, going Object, Rotate

and the text box for a split second shows the arrows in the corner for rotating, but then this disappears and puts a small circle in the middle of the text box????

obviously one of the setting is wrong - that i have managed to change somewhere.... or do i have to use a title text box??

I don’t know how you have rotated a text object in the past, as far as I am aware, it can’t be done.

As you said, you can use a title object.

The problem with a title object is that the text won’t adjust to fit when resizing. You will have to use the enter key to create line breaks where you want them.

Having said that, I don’t know of many people that would kink their neck for half an hour to read a large passage of text.

Hi

You can't rotate to skew a text object although it gives the impression that you can.

You can however rotate a title object which is actually an image of text but has the downside that the text is not visible as text and you'd need to put a title against it to ensure that its accessible.

Sorry

Morning Terry!

Hi Terry

I thought I'd celebrate my change to 'Honorary' with a change of piccy.

I have slightly more hair though.

Cheers
