Hi,
I changed a link on my 'index' page. But, when I publish the website nothing changes. If you link back to the 'index' page from anywhere else in the site, the changes have happened. But, when you type in www.georginasherrington.com to the browser from another window, then the changes don't register. Thanks for your help, Georgina |

You have both a Home and an index page that I think is leading to confusion -- similar to the problem I think you had a few months ago.
Your site needs an index page -- index.html that this link leads to: http://www.georginasherrington.com/ This is the same page as this one: http://www.georginasherrington.com/index.html As well as that, you also have a Home.html e.g, linked to from your gallery page: http://www.georginasherrington.com/Home.html. That is the page that you have been updating, not the index.html. I suggest you remove the page named Home, and update your links to point at index instead. Previously I think we decided that your site needed a Home.html because your host had set it up that way. But now it seems you need an index.html page, which is much more normal. |
