I have downloaded a flash video and saved in that format to place on my web site. When I do the insert foreign object, video, flash, do parameters need to be set?, choose visible control. Page is blank when I preview it. What to do?

For a basic video, there is no need to enter any parameters, and SS will automatically set the Class ID and Codebase fields. Make sure you have set a format of Flash. There is a working Flash example in the Import tutorial under Help > Tutorials.

If your preview remains blank, try another video -- it's possible your present one is corrupted in some way.
