Although you said "download" are you meaning "upload" -- sending files from your computer to your website?
If so, I expect the difference is caused by something happening at your host. Can you post a link to the site with the missing pictures? |

Dear Bruceee,
I refer to Filzila download. After opening Filzila, I click "file" and select "New" and then enter logon and host and passwords etc. and click "connect". It says connection successful. Then on the left side column, I select Site Spinner Pro and on the right column side, I click on the Site Spinner file with "Right Click" and select "Download" The Filzila runs and after a while display download successfully completed. But when I open Site Spinner Pro in desk top, and click open file and click under "public_html", the file downloaded is there, and click open. But then all pictures are missing except the text files are there. clicking Object (head) icon, shows all the picture files are there inside. How come the picture files are not open and loaded as exactly the same as in the URL ??? In another download of mine, it is 100% same as URL with pictures and text as it is in the URL. This is where I seek advise as to what went wrong. It is not the earlier URL Upload with missing pictures in another discussion. Regards, Alan ...................... Alan Lam |

First of all, you do not need to right click a file to download it with FileZilla. You can simply drag and drop (the same applies to uploading).
If you mean you have downloaded an SS ims file, and the images are not there, that could only mean that the images are not in the same location on your computer as to when the project was last saved. The Placeholder of each image should show the file path of where SS is trying to find the image. Alternatively, right click the object and select Edit Geometry to see the full file path. You now have two choices. Either locate your images and place them into the expected file path, or, in the Geometry Editor, click on “New Dir” and point the new directory to where the images actually are. You should only need to do this once, as SS will apply the new directory to all images. |

As you mentioned above, in FileZilla, you have the files on your computer in the left side pane and the files on your server in the right pane.
To upload files to your server, navigate to where you want the files to go in the right pane. Highlight the file(s) you want to upload in the left pane. Left click and drag them into the right hand pane. To download files from your server, just reverse the procedure. |

I currently use FileZila for most of my uploads. When you upload to the host, the text, colors, and background go. Unfortunately, the pictures have to be done one-by-one. With my wife's site, I changed it frequently, so this feature is somewhat of a plus for me. The only remedy that I know of is to load your entire Geometry and Image folders so that you can upload all files at once. Good Luck! |
