Anyone have this problem? I have an I-frame set to open images. The page background color is brown. In Fire Fox, the color of the frame is the same as the background. In IE6 and 7, the frame is white.
I have changed the background color of the I-frame by going to object properties, shading and set to flat. It doesn't seem to matter though with IE.
How do I make the frame the same color as the background?
Thanks for the link. It didn't fix the problem though. I am starting to think it is my install of SS. I tried to view the page from work with the same results on my computer with IE so I know its not IE.
An i-frame in IE has a white background until something is loaded into it. Then the background of the loaded page is visible. FF, Opera, and Safari all use a transparent i-frame.
A trick with IE is to create a blank.html page with the desired background color, and set the i-frame to load it when the page loads.
Roma, The page that I have the photos on has the same color background. The photos at the bottom of the page are actually in an Iframe of their own with the iframe pointing to the page with the photos.
wait a moment... would this be an iframe numbering issue? It seems to work correctly, with the exception of the background color of the iframe.
As you are loading the large images directly into the large i-frame "Photoframe", I suggest expand the less-than-full size images by directly applying the background to them. Your aim should be to have all your large images the same size for the Photoframe.
Failing that, place all large photos on a separate HTML page with background as Klimt suggested, and load those pages into the Photoframe.

After going around in circles chasing my tail, I decided to go in an entirely different direction. I decided to go with a java script slide show. This actually works really well and once you have figured out the actual scripting, is fairly easy to manipulate.
To list the photos to the slide show, I piped the images directory to a text file, concactinated each bit of the photos code in Excel, cut and past and I had it finished in about 10 minutes.
Although I have no idea what this looks like on a normal monitor (non-wide screen) until tomorrow, I so far like the results. If you look at the code, I took out the effects and moved the previous/next buttons (which still needs work).
Thank you for all the help over the last couple of days. This is one of the most friendly forums I have seen in a while. I will be sure to pass how great the software and support is to my friends.
