No, it shouldn't take that long -- something like 10 seconds is much more reasonable. (On a reasonable computer of course!) I remember a bug fix for a problem in this area, so the first step is to make sure you have the latest version of SiteSpinner -- 2.70f.
You can cross-check with the tutorials project -- a known good project of about 50 pages. For me that project takes about one second to load. If your SS installation is OK, I would expect a comparable time for you.
Assuming all that doesn't change anything, you are left with some problem in your project. Typically slow loading is caused by large images perhaps in multiple layers. Pages like that can make SS very busy, and so slow. If you have some obvious pages like that then those are the ones to work on first.
If you don't have anything obvious, then I suggest a divide-and-conquer approach on a copy of your project -- delete pages until you hit something that makes a difference.
Having found the problem pages, the usual trick is to reduce the dimensions of your images -- rather than use huge images directly from a digital camera and rely on SS to resize them, instead make them a reduced size to start with.
If you have multiple layers, consider reducing the number of layers, by combining overlapping images.

If you were down to one page and it still went slowly, then start deleting objects from that page. It may be that whatever the problem is, it is common to all pages.
By multiple layers, I mean images or objects overlapping each other. E.g., a background image, with objects on top of that, and still more objects on top of those. A little layering is quite acceptable, but if you have lots, that might be causing the problem.
Thumbnails with popups shouldn't cause a problem unless maybe your large images are much bigger than full screen size.
Can you post a link to your site? -- we may see something by just looking at that.

Your pages (the ones I've seen) load quite quickly for me....certainly within an acceptable time. Some pages (index included) seem to be rather lacking in content though .... there's nothing on display, but perhaps you haven't got around to that yet? Just wondering whether your PC is 'clean' and you carry out all necessary housekeeping on a regular basis? It loads OK for me, but your PC may have a problem perhaps? BTW, I won't be ordering any of your products, but I can well imagine that it's a lucrative market for you, LOL! mccifa

One thing I forgot to say: after your deletions (page or object), do an Edit > Clean Components. That will remove all trace of the deleted objects. That may be the reason your now "blank" project is taking so long to load. A normal blank or near blank project should of course load instantly. Did you try loading the tutorial project to see how fast it loads? I tried to look at your trialsite, but nothing happens. I thought these sites lasted 24 hours, but if it's only 12, I have been too slow
