If you want to keep projects separate when you publish them, the best way is to create a new 'Profile' for each location or site.

The 'Profile' is essentially a set of web site settings. It stores the local and remote publishing directories (folders) as well as the FTP settings and some general publishing settings.

As long as you use different local and remote folders for the different profiles, any files from projects you publish to one profile won't get mixed up with those of another. So you can use any page names you like and will not need to worry about conflict with another site.

You can add as many profiles as you need.

----------------------------------------------
To add up new profile:

Click the Publish -> Publish Project menu item to open the Publisher window.

In the 'Profile' tab click the 'New' button and enter a new profile name (or leave the the default 'Profilex')

Click on the 'FTP to Internet Server' checkbox to activate the FTP tab (so you can enter your FTP settings in later step).

Next, go to the 'Pages' tab and 'Browse' for a new location for the 'Local Publish Directory'. This folder is used when publishing to disk and is also used as an intermediate storage when publishing to a web server. Be sure to use the 'Make New Folder' button in the 'Browse' dialog to create any new folders you need.

Finally, go to the FTP tab and enter the FTP settings for your web site. If your sites are on the same server with the same account, choosing different 'Remote Publish Directories' for each site will keep the project files separate.

You can change any of the other settings in the Publisher Window and they will be remembered whenever you use this profile

Press 'Apply' to save the Profile and then close the Publisher Window.

Whenever a project is saved, the Profile in use will be saved with the project. So each time you reload a project it will load the Profile that was in use when it was last saved. In that way, each project can have a profile assigned to it.

When you create a new project, the profile currently in use is assigned to it.
