Create medium to large sites using multiple Projects.
If you plan on having a website that includes different areas, or if you anticipate your site may become large, you may want to break the site down into multiple projects. For example, www.virtualmechanics.com was created with multiple SiteSpinner projects that are in different subdirectories. virtualmechanics.com virtualmechanics.com/products virtualmechanics.com/products/sitespinner virtualmechanics.com/support etc. To do this, create your main project. You can then use this as a template for your subsequent subdirectories. Save the template in the new directories. When you go to Publish your site, create new directories on your webhost (in the Publisher > FTP tab, click the Browse button. This opens a window to your webhost. You can then create subdirectories at your webhost). - Derry |
