Are you using SS FTP, or another program? When you say 'crash', do you mean it stops the program all together?

This doesn’t sound good.

The only thing that I can think of is that the software has somehow become corrupted.

Maybe you could try re-installing Site Spinner to try and fix the problem.

So this problem is really nothing to do with the upload to your site. Rather it is the publishing of the files to your disk that is causing the problem.

Does this same problem happen when you Preview All? (A similar operation to publishing to disk.)

Regardless of that, can you isolate the problem to a particular page or group of pages by selective publishing or previewing? I have seen bad images cause a problem like this -- SiteSpinner shouldn't crash of course, but it still does sometimes.

I suggest be suspicious of any images you have added recently. And if you find an image that causes the crash, then keep it, because it will be of interest to the folks at VM.

If you have no luck, can you zip up your project file and at least the suspicious images, and email to me? Address is in my public profile.
