When I publish my SS pages, the jpg image is apparently turned into a png file in the Image directory. It can't be viewed on the web. I am frustrated because this just started happening yesterday. Prior to that, I had no problem publishing pages with multiple jpg's.

You can control this for all images from the main menu Options > Project Options > Default Image Format.

Or for individual images, you can to the same from the Geometry Editor > Options > Rendering File Format.
