I sometimes use a 3rd party tools to create gradient background tiles. I often have both this tool and SS/WE/SS-Pro open at the same time. When experimenting with various colors schemes, I will save the tile using the same name.
The problem comes after I change the gradient tile and re-import it back into SS/WE/SS-Pro via Page Editor->Background. While the preview shows the new image tile is being used (at least for preview and publish), the old gradient tile is still showing on the work page. |

I think this happens with images generally. If I change an image using an image editor while SiteSpinner has the project open, the SiteSpinner workpage does not notice the new image. As with Larry's tile, preview does.
If I want the workpage to register the change, I save the project, then re-open immediately. Another way is to use the Geometry Editor to set the path to the new image -- which is identical to the old path. Any easier methods? A possible fix might be to have a "refresh" option that works in a similar way to the one in Windows Explorer. |

I think it would be better if the program did not assume the image is the same just because the filename has not changed. Either load the image again or lock it after it is loaded so it cannot be modified by another program.
