When I place one object in front of the other object, then attempt to include those objects on all pages, the initial page the objects will display the objects in the correct order. All the other pages on the website that the object was included the order of the object is all messed up! Please advise!

As a side note, is there any way to view in real time the z positions for each object? What about manually editing those z positions (not just moving them forward and backward)?

Please advise.

Respectfully,

Josh G.

If you are selecting multiple objects to be 'included', you can control the z-order according to your order of selection. Your first selection becomes bottom in the z-order then your next is 2nd-bottom and so on all the way to your last selection which is topmost. This z-order is passed on to all the fresh includes. But it remains unchanged in the page which is the source of the include. So it can cause the difference in z-order you noted.

If some objects, but not all, are already included on other pages -- I prefer not to think about it Smile Rather, I would delete and start again from one good source page.

If you lassoo multiple objects, they keep their current z-order when included on other pages.

There's no way I know of to view the z-order of a group. But I agree, it would be useful to be able to juggle the order from some kind of editable list.

I understand that i cannot view the z-order i Sitespinner, but isn't it possible to change the z-order through the object ( code ) ?

It seems that when i have insert the object
( code ) once, the z-order sticks to that object and i cannot change it.

The Arrange > Align > To Front, Forward, Back and To Back menus or buttons change the Z-Order and the code order.

To Front is bottommost in code. To Back is topmost.

When i'm clicking on Arrange in the menu, i only have Align > Left, Center Horizontal, Right and Top, Center Vertical, Bottom. None of the one you mention.

Please advice.

Try Arrange > Order > To Front, Forward, Back and To Back. There are also buttons for these on the bottom toolbar.

Sorry Stock and Harpo!

Your right, sometimes it's so obvious.
Sometimes you just need the right word ...

Thanks!
