Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the Page Editor and set the default font to Georgia, 10pt, green and save. 2. Open a text editor and set the font to Verdana, 10pt, black. 3. Type a line of left-justified text, ending with the Enter key. 4. Set the font style to centered text and type another line, ending with the Enter key. 5. Set the font style to left-justified and type a 3rd line of text, ending with the Enter key. 6. Save and Close the text editor window and preview the page. The 3rd line enter is being displayed in the default font not the font set in the text editor. 7. Reopen the text object and position the cursor to the end of the previous entered text. Change the font style to centered and enter a 4th line of text, ending with the Enter key. 8. Save & close the editor and preview the page. The line spacing between lines 3 and 4 is incorrect. It appears to be an extra
but is due to the closing
. I hope this can be placed high on the list of things to fix as I do not relish using multiple text objects to work around this problem. If there is a key sequence to use in the interim, I'm all ears. (Changing the default font is not an option.) This message has been edited. Last edited by: larryd, |

Definitely a bug. Thanks for letting us know. A workaround that you may be able to use is to change the font attributes slightly for the entire centered line. For example, instead of black on the centered line use RGB:0,0,16.

Thanks Harpo. Now I can stop using Expression Web 2.
