I just got the trial version, and the first thing i am trying to do is save the Music template under a new name so I can work on it. But it instantly throws up 'encountered an error and needs to close' and the whole thing closes down.... Not a good start... Whats wrong ?

I tried the same thing and it works for me. I used both SiteSpinner and WebEngine. I am not aware of any restrictions placed on the trial versions.

I first opened the template using the File->Open Template. I then used the File-Save As... to put in back into the same directory with a "(copy)" added to the file name and again into a separate folder.

I guess this is doing it more than a one time occurrance. Perhaps reinstalling would help.

Also make sure you are using the latest version of SiteSpinner -- V2.70.d at least. There is also a V2.70.e which is almost "official" -- that should be just as good, if not better.

You might have discovered a bug -- how were you trying to do the save?
