this is really small stuff...and I think webspinner is really great ! Maybe it is not 'general' - but I wanted to let you know anyway :
- images distort when you try to make them smaller/larger with the diagonal arrow. I know it's not important and it can be corrected easily manually, but it's funny : my horses look like giraffe or pancakes. - arbitrary links. When I put in my links using the "object editor" it works...or it does not. The idea is simple : link type page, name of page, ok...sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Try again and it does work...is this a bug ? - text linking : sometimes program refuses to take in account long links (for instance happy horses&owners...it only wants to link to 'horses'...and I have the same problem with internet addresses with a "-" inbetween. Hope this is usefull ?? Brigit |

Hi birgit,
Horse/Giraffe image: keep in mind that you can scale your images proportionately by selecting your image, and then pressing Ctrl + Shift + either the up or down arrow on your keyboard Links: it should work. Can you tell us how to reproduce this? Text Links: this should work also. Can you give me an example of an actual URL that does not work. - Derry |

I could not reproduce the trouble with the links. It was very strange. They were all the same links (jpg buttons) and the same procedure but some I had to do twice or even three times before the link was there (in html preview). Why ? Beats me...works fine now. For the linking on url's with - or text with signs like & I have found the solution : I just put the full text in 'text link to click on'. Try 'happy horses&owners'. To me, the program wanted to link to horses OR owners, but not the whole text. Same for URL links : links like www.western-riding.yucon.be were cut of after the -, but again it's solved by putting the whole link in the text. Does this help or make sense ?
