After posting this in the feature request section like an idiot, I erased that one and copied it hereSmile

Hey everyone, the one and only issue I've been having with SS is after I publish a site using a text based link...it will come up something like this "http://www.example.com/pageone.htmlhttp://www.example.com/pageone.html" I have no clue why it will do this, the link looks fine in the editor. Also, if I publish the site a few more times it will usually fix itself. Has anyone heard of this happening? I'm not sure if it's a bug or not but I thought this was the right forum to post it in.

Review the Help->Tutorials->Making Links section to make sure you are not missing a step. If everything is OK with your procedures, then it looks like you may be corrupting the link inside the editor window. Since the actual link is hidden, it is easy to use the arrow keys to move into the link text and make changes that will effect the underlying link code.

Next time it happens, leave the page up and post a link. Someone can look at it and maybe deduce what went wrong. Don't forget that using the Publisher->iHostVM tab, you can publish a test page that will remain on the iHostVM site for 24 hours.

I had the same problem when I first started with Site Spinner. I have also tried to re-create your problem using SS, Web Engine and SS Pro to no avail. I think that my “machine” or the programs have remembered their settings.

However, what I think you have done is duplicate your link in the “Link Editor”

When you create a link, do not enter the http://.www. part, as SS already has this in it’s settings. Simply put the link itself, “example.com” without the quotes.

You can check to see how the link will appear by going to View>Show Code View Window
