If you draw a polygon or rectangle and make a link on that object, the link won't work if you set the line width to 0.
If you set the line width to 1 or more the link works. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Webman, |

Are you shading the rectangle or polygon? By definition a shape that is not shaded or filled, and has no border, does not exist; i.e., there is nothing for SS/WE/SS-Pro to render.

He may have something here. In WE, you can make an invisible link area by drawing a rectangle without a border and assigning a link. I occassionally use this to section graphics for multiple links (like on a map). I cannot achieve this in SSP B5. |

Hi Larry and starhubs,
I have used it to make invisible links. No shading or anything. Exactly as starhubs is saying. It works as long as you are in SSPro, but when you do a preview or publish the page it won't work any more. It has worked fine in WE. |

You can work around this by using the Shading->Fill Settings and setting the transparency (Trans) value to 255. This will force SS-Pro to create a transparent image (which is what SS and WE currently do).

Thanks Larry,
It works fine. VM will hopefully solve this in the next coming beta version. Now they know anyway. |

Now links works fine using line width 0 in SSPro Beta 6 exactly as the readme.txt informs without any work around!
