I am trying to display my logo in a shopping cart, and the cart support staff told me this file should be in a jpg format to work. I have uploaded a jpg image on a blank page, changed the default image format and rendering file format to jpg, but it saves the page as a htm file. I know the jpg page is uploaded ( I can see it in the FTP directory) but I cannot access it via a url. Can you help me with this? Thanks
...oh and this was supposed to be in the "working with images" discussion ...Don't know how it got in with bugs... This message has been edited. Last edited by: chilled, |

Assuming your jpg file is in the /image sub-folder of your site, the URL to get to it would be:
http://mydomain.com/image/name-of-image.jpg where mydomain.com is the actual name of your domain and name-of-image.jpg is the actual name of the image file. BTW, SS will always generate an HTML page. If all you want to do is upload an image, you should use an FTP client such as Filezilla to just upload that file. Using SS works, but you end up having an unused HTML page laying around your site that could be indexed by search engines. |

It worked! I will try Filezilla as well. Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom !
