When I use the review project function the project works as desired - specifically the password authenticated pages work properly. After publishing the complete project to a web server, the password authentication function defaults to the "bad password" page without ever displaying the request for the password.

If you're using the built-in password from the Page Editor and IE7, they don't work together.
