Hi

I'm sure this has been covered long ago but just in case while I remember, also it's not really a bug as such.

Using WD, if you click the Text button and type a word using say font size 12 and then highlight it and make it into a link, click save & close and all is fine.

If you then think the text is to small you double click on it to re open it in text editor, highlight it and then choose a bigger font size which correctly resizes your text/link, save & close it. The text will NEVER resize, it just always shows your original font size you used. Also does the same for font type.

This is not only a WebDwarf issue.

I think this is caused by the way links are hidden in the text editor. Because the link text is not really part of the text (it is part of the link anchor) it needs to have its own text formatting applied separate from the rest of the text.

You can do this by expanding the link, high-lighting the entire link tag (from <a> to </a>, inclusive) and then applying the formatting changes.

It would be nice if WD/SS/WE recognized the text changes were being performed inside the anchor tags and made the appropriate changes for you automatically.

Andy, you have the "expand hyperlinks" option available in Web Dwarf too -- it really does make those changes quite easy. It's also useful to use it when you copy and paste text that includes links.

Larry, I agree with your "it would be nice". We have discussed it previously so I am sure it is on VM's to-do list.

Thanks Larryd & Bruceee

I always wondered what on earth that button was for, as far as I was concerned when you click on it it just 'messes up' your link into a load of old 'garble de gook' !!!

Just tried it and guess what, it works Razz

Well after 3 years I'm 'nearly' getting the hang of this software, heaven forbid I do ever buy Sitespinner, you lot will all have to take an extended (Very) vacation !

Thanks Again
