I recently re-intalled SS pro and properly and successfully filled in the registration stuff. When I boot it up a screen appears asking me to register (not the software but me). It shows my name - the serial number - and askes for my email. I fill in my email and it goes online and comes back with somthing like success - already registered. I then carry on. Next day boot again same routine. It is no big deal but certainly an irratent. Solution or bug?

It seems like a bug. I have seen the Registration call, but I never send in my email address and it goes away.

I expect that whether you are registered is stored in the Windows Registry. So the question arises: do you have any software that is preventing Windows Registry writes, or reverting the Registry to an older version?

Also, in case it is relevant, what versions of SS Pro and Windows are you using?

Doesn't the registration box have "don't ask me again" check box or something like that? I seem recall having to check this option to make it stop asking.

I,m version 2.91 and XP. I am not aware of anything stopping registry writes and I have not had this issue. The mystery deepens and this morning when I booted up it did not happen. Maybe it is solved. We shall see.
