Whenever you adjust the shading of an object, you can't undo it. This can be problematic. I wish y'all could do a big overhaul of the undo function as I've experienced several difficulties. The program I have used before that seems to have the best undo protocol is AutoCAD. Limitless undo's one redo. I love Sitespinner, but I think its undo could be improved.

A remove shading button would be nice. Currently, you can delete a shading, but it seems that the object will automatically use the next shading, and if there are no shading selections left, it uses black.

I've commented about the undo button and how problematic it is. More often than not I end up in more trouble after using it. It rarely "undoes" the previous action. I do a lot of multiple selection and "make selections same size". Here the order of selection dictates the master target size. If I go out of order and try to undo, I get a mess.

Yes a remove, or perhaps a 'no shading' option in the list, for the shading editor would be a good thing.
In the meantime, you can use the quick properties editor to remove shading by selecting the object then choosing 'no shading' from the property editor's shading tab. We agree that more can be done to improve the undo function and we will do that when we can. As with life, there is more to be done than we seem to have time for. |

My problem with the shading and undo is that if I accidentally adjust the shading, say perhaps I have the wrong object selected, I can't undo that action and if it is an obscure color that I haven't used elsewhere, I may not be able to get it back except by going to a previous save. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade Sitespinner for anything, except maybe Sitespinner Pro. Thanks for your hard work.
