when i publish a page to disk (my computer)

on the webdwarf page it looks great -
after i publish it to my computer -

all the ' in text changes to pictures that say ffdd

to clarify - it is the single quote like in don't - and it doesn't change in normal text.
only text that has a color or some sort of formatting - and only becomes apparent when it is published (although i haven't tried publishing directly to the net)....

are you aware of the problem?? do i have a old version of webdwarf?? has anybody got any ideas??

problem resolved :::::::

i created the page in an old version of web dwarf
the new version (2.50f) comes up with the error above.....

all i needed to do was delete the single quote (i did the s as well, but i don't think that was important) and type it straight back in again.....

and now it works with no problems

administrator - you can change the title if you think this would be helpful to anyone else....

I guess the moral of the story is to 'always check that you have the latest release of the software' Smile

hi there derry - i did have the latest software when i first started creating the web page :-)

and updated the software to 2.50f - and that is why i had the problem, but it wasn't apparent until it was published......

:-) please change the title to something more appropriate - to help other people who have the same problem :-)
