I have been using sitespinner succesfully for some time. For some extraodinary reason on my current project any jpeg that i drag onto the page appears in an entirely different place when it is previewed and uploaded! I am using Ie6 and the latest mozilla so it appears that the program is doing something inexplicable.
I today upgraded my programm to the latest version to see if would help - but it doesn't and i have now wasted several days creating pages that look completely different in the browser than they do in sitespinner. Can anyone tell me what is likely to be happening please! NigelT |

A quick clarification re my problem - the jpegs look OK on Sitespinner itself, appear about 12 cm's or so below and to the right of where they should be when viewed on ie6 - but do not appear at all on my website on either ie6 or mozilla when uploaded to my site!
I hope that someone can help - i am dumbfounded by this! Nigel T |

You may have two separate problems here:
Problem 1: Images out of position. This may be caused by a code object you have duplicated across the pages of you project. A quick test is to try one of the images, by itself, in a completely fresh project and see if it behaves there. Problem 2: Images not appearing on your site. You may not actually be uploading the images, or if you are, uploading to the wrong directory. If that does not help, can you post a link to one of the bad pages? |

The problem is resolved. I discovered that the problems occurred AFTER I added an audio player to any of my pages. As soon as that was done any susequent text or jpegs became scattered on the page and would not upload. The solution has been to add the player LAST - then everything works OK.
Strange but true! |

Not so strange.
There is probably an error in your audio player code (like a missing closing tag), that upsets code after it, but not before it. Sending the player 'to front' (button on the bottom toolbar) is identical to adding the player last. This problem will come back as soon as you add more images, because then your audio player will no longer be last -- your new images will be. So if you can, fix the audio player code. If you can't, can you post the code that you are using, or a link to the code? |
