When I click on a Help button in an editor window or a tool window, I am told that the Help file was created in a format not compatible with the format supported by Vista.

Larry, are you using SiteSpinner or WebEngine? I'm running Vista Ultimate (32 bit) I don't have that problem using WebEngine V2N.

Hi Larry,

The WE beta help uses the old WinHelp engine which is not installed in Vista by default (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607)

The solution, until the new help files are ready, is to download and install the WinHelp engine for Vista from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyi...5D4BB&displaylang=en

Thanks for the link Harpo. The only thing I found earlier at MS was that Win32Help was no longer included in the OS.

Hi all,

I'm having the same problem, and I tried to download/install that file. But, the Standalone Installer freezes at "Preparation has completed." Anyone familiar with this?

Thanks!
