Its been a while that I have had the need to make a new folder to publish to, but if you go to the "Browse For Folder" window & select "Make new folder" should you be able to type in the new folder name in "Folder:" .ie delete the "New Folder" text in that box and input the new name there rather than having to select that "New Folder" in the tree and do it that way?

Hi AndyP,
If you are talking about creating a new folder for the local directory, then when you click on the make new folder button, a new folder appears that you can type the new name into. You should not have to go back up the directory tree. - Derry |

Ok… I will start again with this one and what I am getting at may not have been possible in previous beta anyway, as I said, I haven’t had the need to create a new folder for a long time…so….
In the ” Browse for Folder” window you have at the bottom: Folder: ----------------------------- (boxed) Make New Folder Ok Cancel Basically, after you have hit the “Make Now Folder” you can not type in the new folders name in the box next to Folder: Even though you can delete any text in it and enter more text into. You can only rename a folder “ within” that new folder in the directory tree itself |
