All of a sudden a page link started looking for the file renamed from plans.html to plans.ico . I believe this first occurred when I added a publish file foreign object and republished the site. This publish file had that ico extension. Why one obscure page link would have its extension changed is a complete mystery to me. Upon changing the page link to another page and changing it back Sitespinner (ver2.60f) still generated the code <a href=plans.ico ... I can work around it by changing the link to the full URL link, but I would really like to know why and how it happened and how to prevent it. Here is my site: www.americanstylelandscaping.com See also this thread Thanks.

Have you checked the page extension for the 'plans' page? If that were somehow changed to .ico, you would see the results that you describe.

Look in the Page Editor's 'Page Select' tab under HTML file extension.

If that were the case you should also see the page published as plans.ico. (if you pusblished that page after the change)

Thank you thank you thank you, Harpo. I don't know how that got changed, but it was. It must have been a slip of the mouse. I doubt that it was a Sitespinner problem. If it ever happens again, I'll know where to check. Thank you so much.
