i created a page and i inserted 3 text objects and i made them links to other pages.

i used a specific font on other pages and the first 2 links worked fine but the third link kept on defaulting to the font setting on the other pages.

it would look fine on the editor pages but when i do a html preview i could see that the generator has used the wrong font size for the third link. (it looked the same)

publishing also made this mistake - with 2 links being the same size and the thirds being a bigger font setting - but in the editor they looked the same.

i am still evaluating sitespinner - it looks very good but errors like these will prevent me from using it as a development tools as there is no way for me to fix the code other than manually editing it after it has been published.

okay - forgot to tell you

i'm running sitespinner under crossover office on linux - maybe this is a linux/crossover office bug and not a sitespinner bug but this still looks funny...

I am not quite sure what you are seeing. If you select the whole link text, say from one character before to one character after, and select a font and size from the dropdown lists then press 'save and close', does the link not appear in the font and size you chose?

Any font changes inside the link would be ignored so if you select and change the link font but don't get the whole link the change might not be made in the HTML. (sometimes hidden character are missed if you stop the selection right at the first or last link character. Selecting one character before and after or 'Expand Hyperlinks' first will prevent that possiblity)

okay - let me put it this way...

i am creating a page - nothing special

a caption say fontsize 20 and 3 links different font fontsize 12

in sitespinner it looks perfect but then when i generate the page the last link looks like the header same font and fontsize - so what i am seeing is not what i am getting.

but maybe its due to running this in emulation mode on linux - i still need to see if i can get the same issue in windows.
