Hey all,

First .. Lovin it.. I have been using SS for a long time. I like it because I can design a site and then with very little tutoring hand it over to a novice to do their own updates in the easy fields. (Is that cheating?!)

If someone has mentioned this already I apologize.. I didn't see it.

Anyway... working on a new site and finding that when I put a .gif on the page and then resize it, the backround (if transparent) reverts to the main background color rather than any objects between the .gif and the background, but only on preview/publishing. In the editing stage no ill effects.

Only happens on resized objects.

This was a project moved from SS to SSP, even deleting the item and then readding it gives this result.

This result shows in both FF and IE7.

I can edit the images elsewhere to avoid resizing in SSP but that is going to crimp my "futz on the fly" style of web design.

And damn it, I entered this field to be lacksidasical so that is not an option!

I see the problem too in SS Pro, not SS Basic. Also happens with PNG-8 format with Render Background off.

Yay! I mean, not really but as a very occasional user of the forums it is nice when a respected member confirms that I am not just being a retard.

Not that I'm not, mind you. Just not THIS time Big Grin
