Hi

I normally use wsftp to transfer my published project to my web space. I have been using web spinner v2 for a few days now, so i thought i would test the built in ftp transfer facility.

I can connect to my server no problems and using the browse button. And I can navigate through my folders no probs.

But when I have selected my directory and press the publish button, the program normally transfers a few files and then pauses, finally web spinner crashes completely.

I have tried this many times and have deleted the contents of my local publish folder, and re published the project. But still the same.

If you have any ideas or would like to try my ims file your self please let me know.

many thanks

Dan

If you can send an ims file that has this problem, along with the images that go with it, that would be great. We have heard of a similar problem but have not yet been able to reproduce it.

Please send the files to beta@virtualmechanics.com

The latest Web Spinner is actually called SiteSpinner and you can get it here:

http://www.virtualmechanics.com/download/sitespinnerv2.exe

SiteSpinner replaces Web Spinner. It is the same program with updated features and a new name.

Please note that SiteSpinner will install into a different directory than Web Spinner. If you wish to keep your FTP publish information you will need to copy "ftppro.ini" from ...\IMS Web Spinner V2\bin\ to ...\SiteSpinner V2\bin\
