Hours of this and I don't know why I even bother anymore.

I put a couple pictures on a page of a brand new project.

I add text and links.

I preview and it's fine.

I save the project and do another page.

I preview the project and now the 1st page has no visible images.

I redo that page.

Preview.

Looks fine but now the 2nd page images are gone.

I try using jpeg instead of png.

Keep having the same problem

No matter what I do, no matter what file type the pictures are, no matter if I let it save the new pics in the SSP clipart file or make a new file. No matter if I lock before I save or leave all unlocked, pictures just disappear.

And I know they aren't hidden in the back of stuff because there is no added background, just a few little pictures and a bit of text with a couple simple links.

Why I bother to spend my time doing things like this I will never know, I have tried at least a dozen WYSIWYG programs and they are all either buggy or counter intuitive.

I never thought I would say this but my webhost's built in site builder actually isn't that bad.

I can understand your frustration, but since there are a few thousand people using this software and not having the problems you are, can you provide a little bit more detail on how you are adding pages and images to those pages? Are the two pages you are having trouble with in the same project or two projects? What is a SSP clipart file?

The most reliable way to add images to a project is via the Mona Lisa button on the left toolbar.

If you are dragging in images from some other place like the internet, SS will prompt you to save them to somewhere more permanently. Make sure you really are completing that save step.

If you think you are saving the images to the SS ClipArt folder, use Windows Explorer to check that folder to make sure that the images really are being saved there.

Also, make sure you don't have an ad or porn blocker active that may be blocking the images when you try to view the page in your browser.
